A Portfolio of 3D Modeling and Animation

Oh No!  The Rancor!

It is not hard to love the Rancor from Return of the Jedi; it is one of the best moments in all of the Star Wars films!  Here's a simple interpretation of one of my favorite Star Wars creatures!

Above the Clouds

In this short film, I explore the volumetric clouds with my favorite World War 2 bomber; the B-17 Flying Fortress.  I created all of the models, animations, textures, and renders for this project!

Dawn Patrol

Inspired by one of my favorite children's book that focuses on a racoon who invents fantastical machines for his friends.  I created all of the models, textures, animations, and rendered in real-time.  The images below are close-up renders of the octopus and his machine.

The Observatory

An exploration of real-time rendering and environment creation! From my favorite part of the Dark Crystal; watch to the end if you're a fan of the film!

Jungle Panther

Photogrametry at work for real-time rendering! I captured all of the photos, processed the date, retopologized, and UV mapped, and transfered the textures for this cool statue!

Showdown

Real-time filmmaking! I created all of the models, textures, animations, environments, and even some of the voice acting for this short film!  Making stuff with your kids is awesome! Blender, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine to the rescue!

Treasure Chest

Created all of the models, textuers, UVs, and renders for this fun treasure chest!

1942 Jeep Willys

Breakdown reel for the major stages of construction for a model of a 1942 Jeep Willys.
